Hi, my name is Adam. I grew up with Zach and have known him most of my life. I don't know if his family knows about this site or has an account on here so I thought I should let all of his fans know that he has passed away. He was a good person and a dear friend of mine. Thanks to his books he will live on for many years and be missed by many. RIP Zach. We love you and you will be missed. I hope your books grant you the immortality your deserve.

Adam, please email me right away. This is Robin, I was at Horror Realm with Zach and sat next to him a lot of the time. I met his mother and father. I really need to know what to do next, I'm in shock and shaking right now. Please help me. Z and I were best friends here and he supported my writing and encouraged me to publish as well. I wonder if services will be held at Temple Beth El in Winchester where he had his Bar Mitzvah or has the family changed temples? I'd like to know so I can pay my respects. |

Z does have a sister named Alison, and I met Adam at Horror Realm, we all sat together and drank together. Adam is a really good guy and Z and him were tight.
I am certain that this is not a joke. I only wish it was because after losing Sean (Sicbelly13) this is extremely devastating news. I can't go on, I really can't! I know I must but it's just so hard to take.

Yeah, I hate to be callus and like a dick; but, someone did this to my cousin awhile back. Hacked into his blog when he was in Iraq and posted that they were someone in his unit and that my cousin had been killed in the fighting. It wasn't fun trying to get that one fixed. So I'm a bit cautious until one of the mod's can confirm this or someone can provide a source of info.

OK guys, I'm sorry that I didn't switch over to my reg username. I'm in shock and don't know how to deal with this, but I will try.
Fireburn (Adam) is Z's very best friend. He's not on here that much, but it is indeed him. I can also confirm that Z does have a sister named Alison, he spoke to me about her a few times, and I met his family at the convention we went to in September. As far as I can tell, this is the truth, as much as it pains me to admit it.
Alex contacted me by email for confirmation but I hadn't checked my emails until this evening, after I had already come across Alison's post. I'm sorry everybody, but I know in my heart that this is true. I felt incredibly sad the other day and was having issues of my own, so there was definitely a vibe I was connecting to, I believe. Maybe that sounds corny. But Z and I shared many things, and we were close. I only wish his family or Adam would reach out to me and somehow help me to help you all (and myself) in handling this loss. As of right now, I only know about as much as you guys. I haven't been able to fully absorb it yet.
I'm sorry guys. I feel like the whole world just dropped out from under me.

To all of Zach's fans. I know this is hard for a lot of you all and I see some of you are not taking this well. So I want any of you who need to talk please call me. 304 707 8048. I am drunk as all hell right now but please if you need to talk call me.
I will post info about his memorial service as soon as I get info from his family. I hope all of you show, so that if there is an afterlife he will know how many people cared about him.

It's called denial...we'd rather hope this was a bad, sick joke than believe that someone we like and know has passed on. It's never easy hearing that a person you have a personal connection to is no longer there in the physical.

I got an email from one of you that said they called his phone. Please all of you think about what his family is going though and respect them. I swear to you all that I will post the info for his memorial service on this site and many others. Please think about his family and leave them be. I can not imagine what they are going though right now.
