Hi, I'm Zach's mom, Mary Recht.  I wanted his fans to know about a special tribute issue that RIGOR MORTIS, a "funzine" has produced.    It has some very special touches about Zach...the type of person he was, why he loved writing about Zombies, and a wonderful collage of his likeness as a little boy and as a young adult.  The illustration also has sooo many of his fav parts of his life in it.  I would encourage all of his fans to see it to learn more about what a truely unique individual he was!!!!  The address for RIGOR MORTIS  is http://www.leekinginc.com
THANKS  TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR ZACH!!!

Thank you Mrs. Recht for bringing this to our attention. I have read the on line article and it is a wonderful tribute to Z. I am going to look for the publication and keep it with my copies of Z's books which are very dear to me for many reasons.

I love it.

What a goof he was. I think they got that smile of his down pretty well.

I'd buy a set of those Z-Bar glasses if someone made them.

What a great idea to make Z-BAR glasses!!(You all have no idea how much Zach loved his J-BAR glasses)...I think he imagined he was Hunter S. Thompson every time he used them!!  I'll have to check into getting some Z-Bar ones made!!  Thanks for posting the picture on here.  I'm not good at that sort of thing.  I always had Zach come over to do my glue, cut or paste!
He really would have liked the sketch.  Bojan really captured Zach's very essence!!  The article that accompanies it is quite touching also!!
At $3.50 it's quite a bargain I think.  I'm framing the picture and hanging it with Zach's library(which is a fabulous collection of his fav books).
Thanks again to all of you!

Man, I'm missing the Z.

Those glasses would be great to a tribute drink to him.  Permutted Press needs to jump on that action.

I just remembered that when my bro and I went out drinking last Friday, it was a solid block of back-to-back "TO Z!"s (although it's pretty fuzzy).

I really miss him too, Dillo.  I'd be pretty psyched to drink out of a Z-Bar glass.

This is the house that Z built. Would be shame for people to forget that he's the reason so many of us have become friends with each other, thanks to his work.

He was a truly talented writer, and an inspiration to any zombie fan (living or dead). He rekindled my love and fear of zombies, and I can't thank him enough for that. The world is a lesser place without him. Happy Holidays and blessings to the families and all else affected by his passing.
