I'm not sure off the top of my head, but it does suddenly drop off. I'll check and get back to you.

If you are talking about the trade paperbacks, then yes, book #11 is the latest and it was released just recently. The hardcovers so far only go up to issue #60, with each book containing 12 issues each. Currently there are 66 total issues released in comic form, but most are collected in the trade paperback format.

Actually, book #11 is the latest, the release date was in December '09, so there's probably going to be more. I also understand it is to be made into a television series or movie sometime in 2010, so there's still hope!

I know I have read that Robert Kirkman wants to make it to issue 100 at least, so you will be seeing more. I also know from spending time on his site that he has been releasing the comics more consistently, so when that happens the trade paperbacks come out faster. And I've also heard that the publisher has been slow in releasing the TPBs, sometimes months later than the original date, but that has been improving also. So best I can tell you is #11 is the latest but more will be coming!

You can check his froum for release dates: http://www.imagecomics.com/messageboard/viewforum.php?f=2

(Mods, I hope this is ok to post here)

Shhhh, Godmules! If that's the case, keep one for yourself and pass the other along to a friend...or keep it for a collection.

I was real pumped about this series and read it (in hard cover form) up until (I think) issue 60 some. It is a fantastic story with believable characters and story. But I just can't keep reading. I know the whole thing follows mostly Rick, but this is getting ridiculous. It's like the author(s) have something against Rick personally. The sh!t that this dude has gone through is intense. I can only watch an author beat on his creation so long before it gets monotonous to me.

Now if Rick were to die and it would start following the son, I could get back into it I think (or really any other character).

The nasty stuff that keeps happening to Rick and his friends keeps me hooked. There is just no rest periods in the story and its addictive.

The story pulls no punchs, its possible any one can die even the hero. I love that

I just got an email from Amazon, stating that they will not be able to get #11. Not sure how the rest of you (Godmules and gentriawittlehurts) are doing with your copies, but I found one at Borders. If you can't find one and you ask nicely, I would be willing to pick another up and send it to you. If anyone is interested PM me your info and I'll see what I can do.
