So I got this and played it through twice.  Ther eis a slight amount of replay value for each 'episode' I suppose becuase the outcomes vary slightly, but not bigtime.

It only took me about 2 hours to finish the first episode and I guess when you combine the 5 episodes you get about 10 hours of game play out of it.  Not bad considering it is only 20.00, but the graphics suck pretty bad, the controls suck almost as bad, but it is zombies....so I cannot complain.

You play as a dude on his way to jail and end up in familiar territory for a short time.  I wish it were a little more open ended or sandbox style.

Spoliers below I think:

I saved the little boy at the farm.
I saved the chick at the drug store.

When I went back and replayed it you cannot save Herschels kid so it is a waste trying.  Even though you do try to save him Herschel still makes you leave.  I was hoping if I replayed it I would somehow end up at the farm with a different story arc....no go on that one.

The episode format reminds me of Alan Wake. I didn't even realize this was out! I swear it's like I live under a rock now...

I guess...I usually do not buy the tie in game to a big movie so I am not sure.

The controls were horrible. The story was ok. I had to take a break from COD so I gave TWD a try....it was ok.

there's virtually no "real" gameplay! You click on icons on the screen and get to choose from 2 or 3 options they give you. The very few times you get to kill a walker, is also point a click. There's no freedom to really do anything. It's one of the most linear games I've played in awhile. It felt like just one giant cut-scene with dialoge options.

Like a fucking asshole, I purchased the season pass for all 5 episodes, BEFORE playing the first episode. STUPID.

For the $20 bucks I dropped on that, I could've bought a halfway decent lapdance from my local strip club. Atleast then when my balls get ground down I'd have known what I was paying for.

 FUCK THIS GAME

The second episode came out last week I think and I dl'd it and played it through once.  One of the problems I have with it so far is that most of the responses are not at all what i would use....so I am forced to say something I really do not want to say, but I still do like the options.

Interesting story arc for the second episode.  I know the gameplay is not really even gameplay, but I am still really enjoying the game.

Got this on a steam sale and just got through the second episode its a OK gameplaywise if your into adventure games if your not you wont like it much, BUT the story is definitely written by Kirkman his style of triumph then tragedy is here for sure and its a damn gripping story too it will have you hooked for that alone.

My only problem is that some decisions dont seem to matter no matter what you picked and the fact that some characters even if you were with them all the way up to a certain point if you go against them once they turn on you seemingly forever.
