I wanna know what every one else thinks about this vaccine part of the story. Will Demilio find a vaccine, a cure, or crash and burn half way through? Will Stiles make it to Omaha, or will they be taken out along the way? I just finished Thunder and Ashes and it left me wondering and kinda pissed.lol.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from.

Zach, while a bit twisted in his ways of humor, was no sadist.  If he was going to have someone who was immune, he wouldn't let it be for naught.  But, as always, time will tell.

well he couldnt be the only one immune to it naturally, there has to be more, like a special genome signature or something that keeps the strain at bay. i would say kill him off or get him lost and find out that someone else unexpected is naturally immune to it, someone like trev or sherman.

Let me fill you in on the real scoop.

It is painfully obvious that the only reason Stiles is immune is because of his size.  His exceptionally large, er man-part, has allowed his body to keep the virus tucked away from his vital organs.  This Stiles guy is obviously huge, like a damn monster.

In reality, I bet Demilio will reach Omaha and will begin work on a vaccine.  What she thinks may help those already infected actually makes things worse.  Perhaps the vaccine ends up killing the host almost instantly, then where are we?  What if the vaccine has a different negative affect on other people and mutates them?  Plus, how can someone infected just become normal again, it just doesn't seem plausible.  There would have to be SOME sort of side affect if the infection was treated.

I never mentioned a "penis."  I camoflauged it with "man-part" which means you ruined this thread by bringing up a penis.  Lewl, pwned.

she has made it, they already said there isnt a cure, just a vaccine, and that wont help the infected.

Me either. I definitely have to get back into it. I don't reread stuff until I forget most of the plot, otherwise I just don't get any enjoyment out of rereading. And, so far, I've forgotten a lot of what happens in the MSSaga.

Gotta read the last 2 Harry Potters again as well, before the movie(s) comes out.

I'm pretty much the same way. I won't reread a book just for shits and giggles if I already know the majority of the plot. Give it a few months and I'll eventually forget the majority of it, so rereading it is more of a pleasure. I also need to reread the last HP book, I just watched the 6th movie again like two days ago and I just beat the HP6 game, so...

Yeah, read it a while ago.  But needs to be reread before the movie comes out.

Agreed. I hope they do a good job with these movies. This will be the first one in a while where the runtime for the movie will actually parallel the book length a bit better. The first couple books were comparatively short, so the 1.5 hour time span for the film could generally encompass most of the book. But the last couple books were huge, and the length of the movies didn't grow much. So I'm glad they're making the last book a 2-part flick. Hopefully they'll get it all.

Completely agree.  The first two movies, maybe even the third, really fit the book well.  But the 4th, 5th and even 6th movie have been lacking.  Each of the books could make 2-3 movies easy really.  I did like the direction they went with the last two movies though, especially the 6th; kind of with the all around darker/evil atmosphere.

Yeah, same here. They really need to stick to that dark shit because that pretty much parellels what's going on. Evil's takin' over, maaaan.

EDIT: I'm leavin work right now, I'll be back on when I get home. But I still got that essay to finish. 5 pages of philosophical pussyfooting.

Also ironically, the sequel we made to The Deal was called The Vaccine. I don't know if I have a copy of that anywhere or not.

I am thinking Z would have a unique situation for Stiles. Like maybe he would have to spread immunity like an STD.

Jesus, you fags, don't talk about HP like that.

And I just loaned both MSSs to my parents because they haven't read 'em.
