Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

A moment of silence for our very dear friend Sean Anthony Parker, aka Sicbelly13 or Sic for short. Today's date, June 1st 2007 is the day he passed away from us.

Sic was such a sweetheart, and he always had a kind word or encouragement to give. He was a writer and an artist. Some of his work can be found in this very forum. He was extremely talented, and was always willing to lend a helping hand with other's writing projects and loved to bounce ideas back and forth which also helped to keep the creative juices flowing.

Sean was a lover of the outdoors, and spent much time out fishing or camping, he even posted pics of himself white water rafting with his family, of which I can remember him relating that he had enjoyed himself immensely. He was practically an expert on fishing, or fish in general I should say. I expect he is still out there somewhere, casting a line, enjoying the sunshine...

Sean also had a great sense of humor. I know he made several of us chuckle at everyday life situations, and he had a way of making you smile even if you were sad. In fact, if he knew you were a little down, he always went out of his way to cheer you up. I still have several PMs saved where he had done just that, and I know a few here who also have saved his PMs, because it was that meaningful.

On a personal level, I cannot say enough about Sean to express how deeply it has affected me, his passing. He was my very best friend online...Hell, with some of the things we had discussed, I could probably even say he was my very best friend in real life, because he was the kind of person you could tell your deepest secrets to and he would never pass it on. He helped me in my writing, and to tell the truth, it hasn't been the same without him. I stopped writing for more than 6 months straight because I just couldn't continue without him going over it for me, or offering his words of encouragement when I thought my writing was crap. Sean helped me during times that I was depressed, and he went out of his way to make me feel better again.

We shared deep dark secrets! He knew all my dirt, and I knew his. I tell you, we were so close that if we had both been single, I could honestly say that I'd consider him a very fine catch. However, he was always the perfect gentleman, and never once said anything to me that could be considered disrespectful of his relationship with his wife Holly though. He adored her, and spoke highly of her even when they went through their difficult times. I wish all men were like him, he was truly one of the good guys.

His wife Holly was very generous with me and shared many pics of Sean. I guess she could understand my need to have them, and offered them to me voluntarily. I will now share many with you all here so that we may all still hold a little piece of him and keep him in our memory. I know he is missed everyday.

God bless you Sic! We miss you!

And lastly, smoke on King of the "Green Weeders", smoke on. I bet his little place in heaven has fields of the stuff, with a beautiful crystal blue lake and big clear skies....Rest in peace my friend!

I have to admit that his passing is the probably the biggest reason I didn't post on this site for a long time. I was kind of in shock that it happened or that it could happen; I didn't know how to deal really, so I just didn't.

Sicbelly forever.

MSSF forever.

does anyone have that old avatar of his? The one with the werewolf? I always thought it looked like a werewolf reciting Shakespeare. Could have sworn I had it.......

I finally recovered from the jager that was consumed on the first. I want you all to know how happy I am that you all care/cared about our dear SIC. He was the man and I still miss him every day.

Seconded. I feel bad because I meant to ask Jacob to put in a dedication for Sean in Thunder and Ashes...but now I'll just move it into Survivors.

It's still absolutely fucked Sean is gone, and one of a million reasons why I'm not about too much anymore. It's bizarre as hell not seeing any new PMs from him or getting his usual phonecalls to check in and see how it goes. Oh well, there's comfort to taken in the fact that Sean was a truly great person, and all of us here will celebrate who he was and let no one forget it. I know wherever Sean is, and whatever is left of him is having a hell of a time, and being true to who he is and what he believed in... and he'd want all of us to do the same. I can't think of a better way to remember and honor him.

I only recognize sicbelly from the avatar and have never met him here online. But to read the warm words spoken about him and to understand that he has touched peoples live in such a significant way, it shows that he must have been a remarkable person.

It is shocking to see and read that he has passed away so young.

It must feel good for his family to know that he does still live in so many people hearts and minds.

Rest In Peace

I've never met SIC but from how I've heard from him on this post, he sounds like the kind of guy that everyone should get to meet.

Its just a shame so many people will never get the chance to meet him.

So SIC even though I've never met you here is a poem of my creation dedicated in your memory.

A man none will forget
Always willing to give advice
To all he met

At peace is he
Upon clouds so high
Fishing upon lake and sea

In fields he lies
Smoking his green weed
thinking of us all
and times not forgotten

Not here
Not now
Never be forgot

BE AT PEACE!!
BE AT PEACE!!
Morningstar cried

To friend
To family
To Lord so high

Treat him well
Keep him safe

For the bell
When rang
Signals our departure

To our friend
In places
Most high

Sic, we hope your happy wherever you are.

Your welcome.
I'm starting to wish I had the chance to meet sic....

Regardless, those who knew him and those who loved him were to truly blessed to know such a good man.

While my belief is that death is a thing to be celebrated and not mourned. I'm starting to think that this really only applies when you've lived a good and long life.

Not for having died at such an early age.

Still, at least the people who knew him have the memories of the happy times spent talking with him.

So my thought is that we remember these times, and try to forget our grief (well placed it may be), however hard that may be.

EDIT:
Although I have just realized he died sometime ago so there's a good chance that most of the grief is gone...

You know dear this may be true for most. That is the main reason I haven't been on here for so long. I have missed him too much...

I actually sent the poem you wrote to his wife.

She cried a lot.. and wanted to thank you for the nice poem.

She also want to thank you all for caring so much for him.

In honor of Sean, I have several babies getting ready for harvest. I even named my best baby "Sean", although it is well known that only the females are the keepers, but anyhoo....

I've changed my username for the purpose of this post, however, I'm still going to continue to use my other username. I just changed my name here due to privacy and legality issues. I look forward to partaking of Sean, in honor of Sean, and I definitely will be remembering all of the good times we've had and what a really sweet person he was not just to me, but to everyone!

I'd gladly share this with any of you who are like minded, but you know, we kinda live far away from each other...so I'm sharing pics for now.

These plants were greenhouse grown, but I moved them outside for the day to get some much needed sun. (We've been having a lot of rain this season.) They are approx. 4-5 ft tall.

The second pic is a closer look at the healthy leaves and general quality of the branches "stacking". The third pic is "Sean", and this is just ONE of the colas forming, she has 15 colas growing on her alone. That one cola is as big as the length of my hand and she's only just started to stack for the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago, I was still trying to sex the plants, there were literally no hairs or buds formed. I disposed of way more males than I ended up with females.
I got rid of them as soon as I saw the "balls" forming, I didn't wait so my buds will be completely seedless. They were never pollinated. I ended up with 5 females, but only 4 are producing well. The fifth one was planted mid June, and was stunted. Although that one is starting to produce the tell tale hairs, I don't think it'll make it to full bud in time. I expect to harvest end of September, perhaps October. (Depending on the conditions.)

Anyway, this cola I'm showing next is part of "Sean". Hex and Z, EAT YOUR HEART OUT! She's a killah!

Here's some more pics from different angles. It was a bitch to zoom in and get clear pics! The last pic is of the plants when they were babies, I believe that last pic was taken in May sometime.

They look really shitty in that last pic huh? It's because it is very important to pluck them back in the beginning, so you get more branches. Some people are afraid to do this because the plants end up looking really stunted and short. But what is the use of having a really tall, leggy plant that produces only 2 small colas, and the colas would be skimpy too. Shorter/bushier = teh good stuffs. I think I didn't do half bad for my own "official" first grow on my own. My dad and my cousin were the experts, and I took all of their knowledge and applied it. I'm pretty proud of my efforts!

Now all I have to worry about is them getting stolen or ???
