Better to have it released properly than to be rushed. Thanks for keeping us updated! We all appreciate it when any member of Z's circle stops by, and it means a lot.

Speaking of, RCS, what's your gamertag? I've got so many damn people on my friends list I've totally lost track of who's who. I know you're on there, you're just lost in a sea of people that are way less important.

Didn't know if I should say something, but I didn't want this thread to go quiet today either.

Another year without the Zed.  Miss you buddy.  Thank you for all you've given us.

I thought that I put up a post last night.... I guess it never posted.

What can I say? Three years have passed, and I find myself thinking about the Z man himself almost everyday. Everyday I am reminded how much his death has impacted my life. I mourn with and for the Rechts, and would never want to imagine life losing my child.

For those new to these parts I was a childhood friend of Zs and lost contact with him when I joined the army. Facebook brought us back together. However, I digress.

The days come easier with time, but the memories remain and some are painful, as well as joyful. There are days I feel like driving up to see his grave site, and just can not find the courage to face it anymore. It brings back memories that I feel are too painful for me to go through. I will continue visiting on his birthday and providing him with a toast. As would be a poetic tradition from the gravesite of Edgar Allen Poe.

His legacy has been embroidered in literature, and that is ever eternal. While there are many authors and artists out there, only a handful are considered great. With Z he was beyond his years in intelligence, and humor. There was always a joke that he could tell that would bring a smile to you day.

This one is to you Z man. Your life may have been short, but your opus, legacy, and bookmark in literature have been eternalized. I love and miss you man.

My heart still aches, and I really miss the shit out of some of you guys. I was too choked up to post something on the day. I am so sorry, for so much. I messed up.

I loved you guys. And you know, I really loved Z. He was my buddy. I know he tolerated a lot from me. My mistake was expecting others to be the same way, and yes, I took advantage. I was a mess, and going through so much. And I lashed out. And as ashamed of my own behavior I might be, the biggest thing I regret is being disrespectful to this place. I'm not trying to make this all about me. I accept what I've done and I can't take it back. I really am sorry.

And I just wanted to say, I really, really miss Z. I am so grateful that I was able to see him face to face, and spend time with my buddy. I cherish the time I had here, and the good times we had.

Again, I'm sorry.
