Ordered it today!!!!!! Woot!!!!! YES!!!!!!!! I have about 1/2 case(1200rds) of the 7.62x25, gonna pick up more $139 for 800 rounds!

I don't think the rotary drum fits it though darn it! ;~( Imagen hooking your thumb into your pocket with a 72 rd drum!

I have a dremel! ;~)

Pix is of the open bolt one, same gun just bastardized into a gay closed bolt! Oh well. Damm crappy rules!

I really wanted an AK that shot the 7.62x25 but they are insanely priced or you have to buy a AK 74, pull it apart order a $260.00 barrel...etc .etc...

Too COOL!

A couple of guys have them over on gunsnet.net.  From what they've been talking about, a lot of the surplus really beats the hell out of them due to the bolt being lighter as a closed-bolt vs. the original open-bolt.  Just giving you a heads up.

Yeah i was thinking about that, subgun ammo is a bit hot. May have to get a mac-10 buffer and mod it. Thanks!

Actually I was gonna save up and get a beltfed .30....anyway. I was in my man room on the net lastnight and the wife was doing laundry. I was telling her about it, she came over to look and said "I like it" then I went into tecno-mumbo jumbo talk (cause that's what they hear when you start talking about specs and such) She said 'how much" I told her. Then she says "what does it eat?" i told her the stuff in the wood case in the garage. Then she said "let me see whats in the cookie jar". I figured well that was that. She comes back down 15 mins later and says "I transfered the money into your "paypal" account"- a bank account just for my APOC foolishness.....I was very suprised, usually i get the "hmmmm I don't know honey" remark.......... did I mention I have an very awsome wife?

*ding a lightbulb just went on*

Oh, ya know what............. I did just put a new roof on the house and garage,(saved us +$1500) and hand moved 1.62 tons of roofing to the dump.....hmmm I wonder what else I can do around the house? ;~)

Damm range was closed. Cops were doing training... Crap. Well I did find a russian issue, 3 mag pouch in my mountian of assorted milspec stuff, lol. I forgot I had one.

Visiably the weapon is very well made(read- I can club you with it),lightweight and very compact. Should be able to carry it and the PSL. If the SHTF.

Triangles all over the weapon, Radom plant. So it really is an ex-comblock build not some crap they threw together in some shop.

Safety is a little hinky and designed for righties, dammit. It's designed so that a right handed trigger shooter can use his trigger finger to push it forward, kind of like the safety on a mini-14 except stiffer and larger.
Appears this was designed with cold weather in mind, oversized trigger guard/safety/mag latch.

Sight has a flip 100m / 200m. I'll benchrest it and see if it can really reach that far, just for fun.

Looking at the heatsheild it should be no problem to mount, optics, laser, flashlight, machete and of course a PSP.

At 100m/200m Im interested to see how much power/accuricy the cartridge has at longer ranges. The 7.62x25 is hot and the ammo is sort of AP. I can't remember if the ammo is steel core or not??? So with the longer barrel it may be still formidable at say 100 yards.(may even have more power but it's only 85 gr bullet)

My next question is why the hell did they leave the folding-disabled-stock on the damm thing???? Serves no purpose except to "look" cool. ??

Also the stroke of the bolt is the longest I've ever seen? Why? Bolt cycles at least 5x past(behind) the loading ramp. I'm pretty sure it's because the weapon was designed as an open bolt?

Barrel appears to be hammer forged, it has that tell-tale file like appearance. I think the orginal barrels were screwed into the trunion. Can't tell if this one is or if it is pressed in. Based on the rest of the parts I'd have to say it's a screw in. *don't know yet*

Today I'm gonna take it apart and look at stuff.

EDIT  **Looked inside, this weapon may have the fewest parts than any I have seen. Gotta love K.I.S.S. mil-spec weapons. Also looks like in a pinch you could hand fab replacement parts.(now heat treating would be another story) Trigger group (hook and latch) is a little smaller than a .50 cent coin.....

Also, 10 mins tops with the dremel and a cut reciever parts kit. Grind off, replace pin,add spring, done. Not that I would ever, ever do it just some fun info.

Very easy to open and clean, tips forward like an AR, no tools required.

Ahhhh if only in 9mm they could have sold thousands of these and would be a good all around National Defense weapon. Cause unless you stockpile the ammo your SOL. They do carry it at some national retailers, not walmart cause i looked.

So it knocks this one off the ZPAW/APOC "best weapons" list. Too bad. For the $$,compactness, mag cap (35rds),ease of cleaning/use looks to be a great PDW choice.

Looking at this thing more, Iam shocked to see this snuck by the jackbooted anal jackwagons. Holy shit. Being a machinehead, I can see "stuff" about these. Like for instace, lack of "extra holes" or holes that were there, are not there or missing, cut or welded into a glob parts.

AV if you get the chance take one and sit down, take it apart and really look closley at it.

In closing, Holy Fuckin Shit!

I wish I had the cash to buy about 5 of these now, hell make that 15........

In the kitchen, where all guns should be kept....lol

While getting a coffee mug out of the cabinet I noticed my wife put her Kel-tec .380 on the same shelf. Good to have a security minded spouse.

Nothing says love and home like a weapon with the coffee mugs.

Well from what I can find Michigan is a NO SBR state....but they recently approved silencers??? WTF. I can have a silencer but not a short barreled rifle?? IT'S MICHIGAN!!!!!!!! Not Kali!

So I guess no SBR conversion for me. Sux! Makes no sense as the Feds allow it but the state does not?? If that's the case Michigan should make full-auto without paperwork legal!

Here's the wife spinning off some ammo..... She also wanted to shoot her Mini. I guess I'm gonna have to break down and buy those damm ruger 20-30 rd mags. Tried 3 aftermarket ones, good for practicing clearing drills........

BANG,BANG, BANGBANGBANG!

Wife's Mini-14 (1990's model) with folding stock. (forgot who made it?) Gun show steal for $30. NIB. May add a 4x scope to it, i'll have to ask her, lol.

She likes the Mini-14 better than my AR. She did very well with clearing any goofs with both weapons. When the weapons were being diffulcult she said "Let me do it, tell me how"

A few bugs with the PPS43. All problems were cleared with tip, shake and cock, Some light primer strikes, also a few FTE's spent cases were getting stuck in the breach. A few fail to cock problems. Could be ammo this stuff is old, old, old. Gonna give it a good inspection today.

2nd mag that came with it was crap. Worked, but too snug and the floor plate wants to wiggle off. May mod it to a drum. More tinkering.

Shot this seated, no rest. Need to fine tune the iron sights, and laser! (25 yards)

I got a new extractor and spring...... works great now!!! No more problems with the ejector.

2 out of 72 FTF - primers had strikes but did not trip. I'm assuming damm old ammo problem! I may give the firing pin a little tiny bit more stroke.

Also got to shoot my cousin's Saiga 12. Low brass would not cycle, had to get some high brass shells. We even tinkered with the gas adjust-no joy.

 Talk about a cannon!!!! ;~)

PPS-43 update....... Still having trouble with it. I tend to OVER oil stuff, gonna try it dryer and see. As of today it can't be my SHTF go-to gun ;~(.

I also think that when they bastardized the action(hammer, pin, cut the bolt down) that is causing trouble as well. Damm shame.

25 yards I can put 5 in the red (.50 cent piece) so it's accurate, just not 100% reliable.

I'm new to this forum so I might have missed something on this but, my question is how did you mount the rail to the PPS 43? There is so little space between the bottom of the barrel to the level of the shroud what type of nuts and or screws did you use? I would really like to add a laser to mine. Not that I hope to ever need to use this I'd rather shoot from the hip in a tight area than to pull it up level to my eye where it could be pulled from my hands before pulling the trigger.

I've not fired my yet and I hope to do so in two weeks. However, with the lack of and cost of ammo right now in the stores I'm not sure when I'll get that chance other wise.
