well today i was unpacking some of my stuff(i just moved to a new and better Apt) and i will be getting my stock dividends check on the 1st so, i am looking at getting a good zombie machete.  this is what i have now

one United slimeline machete  and a made in china heavy machete. these 2 have been doing there job but i want some stronger and cooler looking. I wanted a Tactical Wakizashi from Hanwei but i learned it's very hard to resharpen a sword so i looking at one of the cold steel machetes.

I like the Magnum Kukri Machete,Katana Machete,Two Handed 21" Latin Machete, and the Bolo Machete. i want a belt weapon and i would like to know how easy is it to resharpen these blades, are the sheaths well made and will last a long time, how easy are they are to use and any info would help. I really like the  Magnum Kukri Machete  because i have hear
Kukri 's can take off heads and it looks cool.

That looks like a katana not a machette.  I still have the one I got for winning the zombie trivia contest sitting right by my bed.

what the United slimeline machete? Online it sold under  as a machete sword , Black Ronin Ninja Sword  or as just a machete. on youtube there is videos of it being used in  wood splitting demo but it's not a super storng weapon(can't cut green bamboo but will cut any other woods or things) but you can't break it useing for cutting(i have used  it to chop down a 12 foot oak tree, cut up a old wood table, yard work and cropping up frozen shark bait).  I paided  10$ for it  and 4$ for the heavy machete and they have not failed me.

I have seen the kukri  cut coconut which they say are like a human skull.

here is a link to a test of one: Will It Kill A Zombie test of average handheld weapon could really crack open a human skull?

I'd go with either a Woodman's Pal, a Ontario Knife Company Mil-style machete, or a real Khukuri (nice ones can actually be had for less than you think).

Cold Steel Kukri Magnum Machete  with it's 17" Plain Recurve 1055 Carbon Steel Coated Blade  and sturdy Cor-Ex sheath at http://www.cheaperthandirt.net  $20.51

woodman pal starts at 67$  with no sheath

Ontario Knife Company Mil-style machete  with it's 12" 1095 carbon blade  and no sheath 32$

http://www.khukuriblades.com/ yes their ones are nice and real but there only 10'' blades on them and i don't want to damage something that pretty cropping up stuff(my current Machetes have nicks  in the blades because i was cutting bait on the concrete sidewalk and i missed hitting the frozen bait) and i have a bad habit of getting blood and other stuff all over my tools(try cutting up 50+ pound Cobia, large stingrays and other shark baits  on a beach in the middle of the night and not get you tools covered in blood).

i not trying be cheap, i just want some that cool looking and can be used hard.

 i will just email coldsteel.

It really depends on where you shop.

You can get the OKC 18" military machete for $23.99 and its sheath for $11.99 from http://www.onestopknifeshop.com/store/

The Woodman's Pals are going to be pricey no matter what.

The Khukuris can be had in sizes larger than 10" blades.  However, a 10" bladed real Khukuri has more cutting power than a 22" classical machete.

The OKC and Woodman's Pals are made in the USA.  All three of the tools I suggested will last several lifetimes with reasonable care.

That said.  Cold Steel does make nice stuff.  I own half a dozen of their fixed and folding blade knifes.

Yes I have both Cold Steel Kukri and Kukri Magnum which is the more machete like version. Both are very sturdy and strong.
