Been waiting a long time for the saga to be finished. The combination of Z and Thom was excellent, really liked the direction Thom took and keeping it true to Z's story it seems. I wont spoil the ending, but it wasnt expected imho

Any comments Thom?

Wow! That was pretty fast! I'm glad you liked it, and I do have a question about how you found the ending. Unexpected is nice, but was it in a good way, or no?

I also just finished it... First, kudos on a seamless transition, I couldn't even tell where z stopped writing and you picked up. I loved the book... Started it yesterday evening and just wrapped it up.

Without ruining the end... Will there be another book? A range of emotions when I closed it... Sad, happy, surprised I DID NOT think this book would end the way it did. When everyone else finishes it I will really give my thought.. Either way, good job on finishing it, it was thoroughly enjoyed by me

If you give spoilers to the ending without saying so; I will so find a way to hate you. And debase you with smileys.

The status of further adventures in the MSS universe is beyond me. I have no idea if the estate has anything planned.

Thanks for the good words, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, when does Survivors come out?!

Joking aside, I've read 90% of the book (according to my Kindle), and I must say you've done a hell of a job emulating Z's writing, like mentioned before.  It's not spot-on, but it's really close and I know that must have been dificult.  Annnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm kinda afraid to read the rest...

How can you hurl invective at me about the ending if you don't know the ending?

Aw. Someone on Amazon doesn't like it. Apparently I'm young and unfamiliar with military commonalities... HAH.

Chalk that one up in the DISLIKE column. How many more to come?

All in all i liked it, I think my favorite part was when it said something about Mitsui not speaking english since hyattsburg. It took me back to the old days when we used to get on Z for forgetting Mitsui spoke english in the first book and made him speak only Japenese in the second. And also, i dont want to spoil anything, but how did the "patient" who got shot about 4 times become infected torwards the end?

For everyone with that question, because it is a good one, there is a reason Z made such a big deal about dealing with the Morningstar virus in a BL4 environment. If it wasn't possible for it to go airborne, whether in zombie blood or whatever, there would be no need for the BL4. That's also why everyone always made such a big deal about bleaching after blood.

Make sense?

I also came to that assumption. I dunno if Z ever mentioned it, but it does strike me as familiar.

Well done Tom! I enjoyed it. I did have a few issues but those are irrelevant. Even after a certain MSSF member (not going to mention any names) spoiled the ending for me, I still enjoyed it and am glad we got some closure. I look forward to anything else you have in the future.

That's cause for a real world beat done.  Really. You ruin the ending and you should have your ass kicked. Period.

I'll probably pick up the last book tomorrow...and it better be fan-fucking-tastic....or else.

LOL....You know...I'll give you one guess who it was. He didn't mean to. He thought I was done reading it because I was asking him questions.
