Oh yeah? You ever seen Automaton Transfusion? That'll fuck your whole theory up, right there. Welcome to the forums and shit!

Welcome to both Nurgle and Googles

You've found what is probably the best zombie forum on the net.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just say hello here. Name's Jeff, but Papa (I actually like Papa better) works too. I've been a long time lurker here, but after I found out about Z, I found myself coming here almost everyday, so I figured it's time to start talking a bit.

And I want to give my condolences to Z's family and friends.

I might as well follow Papa's example and bump this thread rather than start something new.  I'm a long-time lurker as well, wanna-be writer (when I get time) and avid gun nut and survivalist.  But then again aren't we all?  I figured since I've actually started posting rather than just eavesdropping I should probably introduce myself lest the veterans around here start thinking "who the hell is this jackass?"

Who the hell is this jackass?

But yeah, us writing gun-nut survivalists are seldom heard over the roar of others.

How's it going?

I thought i would have a quiet welcome rather than big myself by starting a new thread straight away

So, my names David, feel free to call me Dave or whatever you feel like.  Im Australian, but living in the USA at the moment. Love love love sports, especially soccer (i call it football, but for the sake of confusion i will refer to it as soccer) and am a HUUGE Liverpool FC fan. But follow many other sports alongside that.

Also love the usual young lad things, hanging with mates, having some beers etc etc. Love reading and writing as well of course, movies, music as well. I hope to be a writer someday (soon hopefully) and am currently working on a few things, one in which being a zombie themed novel! Totally a really fun thing to do writing this kind of story. Only early days, and ive already read back my rough start to the story and said "ewww! I need to do a lot of editing" but it'll hopefully come together. Lots of other ideas as well, but this is one of the main ones im working on for the time being. Was truly saddened to hear of Z's unfortunate passing, even though ive only just come to know of him. Any death is sad, and such a young talented man it seems. RIP.

Love reading as i said, and i actually have not read Z's books yet, but have them both on order from Amazon and they'll be here in a day or so Only stumbled across them through a reccomendation from amazon, and as soon as i read the blurb i knew they were for me. Zombies are not something i would say is a main passion for me, but i have a very big interest in them from movies and the like. I love the 28 Days Later films!

Bit of a longwinded introduction but oh well

hELLO!!!!!!!!

my name is JM. Zombie fan. what else can i say? heart broken to hear about za's death. anyone know what happened? so tragic. at least the 3rd book is coming... let's hope there is no legal hold up or anything... and permuted press doesn't get greedy or whatever, or the family does. not that any of them would, but these things happen, and it'd sure be tragic if something like that held it up - ANYWAY.......... can;'t wait for jl bourne's 2nd install. of dbd a!! it ended so abruptly to me.. i wanted to scream! cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anywayyyyyyy

from portland, or love EBM./indsutrial, etc.

PS big brian keene fan too... going to start david wellington's "monster" series next i think... anyone read those? any good? those autumn books look  good too... wantedto pick up the first one, but for 300+ bucks? SORRY.

As with many things in life, there is no answer for the public for various reasons. Z man lived his life as he did...and then he was recalled to govt service as part of the IRR....while on various duties, things happened and he moved on from this plane to the next.  Whatever the public knows, or thinks they know, Z-man did what he did for good reasons and that's good enough for me.

Z's family has dealt with the situation very well, as most families can in these situations and that'll be good enough for us till they decide otherwise.

While Permuted Press is run by alien overlords....along with GamesWorkshop....they promise not to enslave us....as of yet....and while Jacob (uber-overlord of PP in his human form) may be an outsider, he's not a bad guy and as done good on not requiring all forum members to have a chip implanted in their arms so they can log in.

So...things are good.

So far.
