Costcos are typically built entirely with concrete outer walls, which are just about perfect for keeping out Zed long-term. Inside the 1000+ square foot building lies TONS of food, but perishable and non-perishable. They almost always have a gas-station just out side, as well as auto-garages built into them. They are equipped with pharmacies inside, as well as thousands of practical tools. Melee weapons would be easy to come by. They have tons of clothes, as well as any supplies you could think of: batteries, toilet paper, even cars. They always have at least one car or boat out in front on display (for sale, obviously), and you KNOW where they bring that shit when they close up. So this place is a completely fortified gold-mine. And the one near me is less than a mile from the beach, so if we ever needed to bust-ass out of there and launch a boat out to see, it'll be a fine backup plan.
I've already figured out how to get in if it's all closed up, as well. There are those bubble-looking things on the cieling to bring in natural light during the day, so if I use a grappling hook (16 bucks on Amazon with 33ft of rope included), getting up and in is a joke. They have supplies inside stacked, literally, to the ceiling, so you can break one of the bubbles and climb onto the stacked goods and climb down. Once settled inside, you can use those stacks and arrange them to make a makeshift stairway to the roof.
It's golden, I've got it all worked out and thensome.
