I recently purchased some neat backpacking stoves made out of those aluminum beer bottles. They are lightweight, inexpensive, and run off of any alcohol. My testing of the ones I got has them bringing 2 cups of water to a full boil in about 5 minutes from the time the stove is primed. Perfect for reconstituting freezed dried meals and cooking ramen/oatmeal. They work exactly as advertised.
Here's a video of a fella reviewing the same exact stoves I have: Check out bottlestoves.com if you're interested. They arrived at my house pretty quickly. __________________ "... you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas." -David "Davy" Crockett

That's super awesome, I haven't heard of them before. Just gotta hope you don't run out of inedible alcohol I guess.
